Dining Room Refresh!

Can we please take a moment to appreciate how much a new light fixture can transform a space? What's more your style in the below before/after?

Our dining room is the first room you see when you walk into our home and although there was nothing "wrong" with it, I've found myself pulling away from the super "farmhouse" feels lately.

To give this space a quick and inexpensive refresh, I switched our dining room and breakfast nook tables (which made such a big difference to the overall feel of the space!) and shopped my house for most of the 'new' decor pieces for the dining room.

With all of that said and done, the only new items I purchased was this gorgeous brass light fixture (less than $300!) and a new rug (~$100). Proof that 'refreshing' any space doesn't have to be expensive.

Always, always, always start with the stuff you already have! You'd be amazed at how different things may look/feel when you move rooms and switch up pieces you've always decorated with together.
